Scenic Blue Mountains Wedding Venues:

Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley

Dryridge Estate – Megalong Valley
A working vineyard, Dryridge Estate commands 360 degrees of the Megalong Valley. There are two separate houses for accommodation as well as a permanent clear marquee already on site for receptions. Lithgow State Mine Heritage Park
State Mine Heritage Park in Lithgow is rich in industrial history. The Bath House building (pictured above with its beautiful windows) is the perfect blank canvas to style your dream wedding. It’s big enough to host both a ceremony or a full reception space. There’s plenty of space and options around the grounds, too. Part of Katoomba’s iconic Carrington Hotel, Katoomba Brewing Company is the hidden gem of event spaces in the middle of town. We photographed Eliza & Dillon’s wedding day here and loved it.

The Foundations Portland
A little further past Lithgow, The Foundations is being given new life as an arts & cultural hub after serving as Portland’s Old Cement Works site. We recently had the pleasure of photographing the first wedding to be held there since its restoration and fell in love with the site and its incredible silos.

Waldara Farm – Oberon
The epitome of country luxe, Waldara Farm near Oberon is a stunning all-in-one venue. Seclusions Blue Mountains is nestled among the rolling hills of Rydal, with a picture perfect ceremony area, two reception barns and boutique log cabins all on site. The beautiful mountain views to Lake Lyell make for a stunning ceremony backdrop. Seclusion’s resident alpacas and highland cows will also watch you tie the knot from nearby.

Collits Inn – Hartley Vale
Collits Inn and its historic barn was built in 1823 which makes it over 190 years old! In Australia that’s about as old as it gets. As a wedding venue, it still offers the Inn’s rooms as on-site accommodation, and plenty of outdoor areas under the gum trees for a ceremony. Ambermere Inn – Hartley
Hartley Valley is also home to Ambermere Rose Inn (est. 1845 with some recent restorations). The food here is to die for and the views up to Mount York are inspiring. Pictured above are Jana & Adrian who had an intimate wedding under the stars but there’s a rustic barn for cover, too.

The sweetest 100-year-old apple orchard you ever did see with beautiful views over the Kanimbla Valley. Located in Blackheath, Logan Brae orchard and its dedicated accommodation/wedding space “The Machinery Shed” is the perfect place for an intimate celebration or Blue Mountains elopement.

Parklands Country Garden & Lodges – Blackheath
The Hamptons meets the Blue Mountains! Parklands is a boutique hotel right in the heart of in Blackheath. Tucked away in the lush utopia that is Mount Wilson, Breenhold is a large private garden estate, steeped in history and incredible beauty. So much so that parts of The Great Gatsby were filmed here. Various garden locations provide stunning ceremony spots and with 45 hectares there’s more than enough room to set up a marquee.

A architect-designed, rammed earth house with a views towards Mount Wilson, Suzarosa is a gorgeous private property for weddings (and a great place to stay for a getaway). The stunning house sleeps 13 and the large lawn overlooking the view is the perfect site for tipi or marquee.
