Bianca & Kholo – A Misty Blue Mountains Elopement

A Blue Mountains elopement is so, so special and we feel extremely fortunate to live here. Lovers come from all over Australia and the world to get married in the mountains. With a stunning World Heritage National Park like ours, it’s practically irresistible. Bianca & Kholo are two of those intrepid folk. They made the trip from Queensland and brought their parents and four of their besties to witness their day.

After getting ready in the same house, B & K opted for a Lincoln’s Rock elopement ceremony, officiated by their lovely celebrant, Victoria. It was a classic rainy Blue Mountains day which happens often here and is just part of what makes the Blue Mountains the Blue Mountains. A blanket of cloud clings to the escarpment, producing what we locals affectionately call a white-out. While there’s no valley view on days like these, the feeling of being enveloped inside a cloud is magical and comforting, while the rain heightens the eucalyptus smell and the sounds of the bush. Bianca & Kholo are adventurous spirits which led them to having a Blue Mountains elopement. The same spirit also meant they embraced the weather and explored the mountainside without any hesitation. It was an absolute honour to be part of their adventure.
